The School of Education is committed to student success and supporting students through their educational journey.
When students experience a personal crisis or emergency, they may be overwhelmed by the circumstances of the situation. The SOE has established an emergency funding program to help meet the immediate needs of students who are managing demanding academic requirements while struggling with financial need. Funds are intended to provide a small amount of short-term financial assistance, not serve as ongoing relief for recurring expenses. Every request for funding will be reviewed on its individual merits. This fund is for special circumstance situations. It should not be used to cover tuition costs or student account balances.
Students must meet the following criteria:
- Be currently enrolled as a part-time (at least 5 or more credit hours) or full-time student at the School of Education
- Be currently in good academic standing and not have any disciplinary actions that resulted from violating the University Student Conduct Code or SOE Academic Misconduct policy
- Have considered or exhausted all other sources of financial aid.
