The academic support team at the Johns Hopkins School of Education promotes and ensures the highest levels of excellence within our school's academic programs.
Spanning two departments — Advanced Studies in Education and Counseling and Educational Studies — our academic support team strengthens our academic community through ongoing support and collaborative engagement, and supports future leaders in education by:
- Encouraging the dissemination of knowledge worldwide
- Promoting a dynamic, research-based learning environment
- Managing administrative functions related to degree programs, academic operations, and curriculum planning
- Endorsing inclusive practices in our student and faculty recruitment policies
- Maintaining our commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion as it pertains to the planning, delivery, and implementation of academic programs and policies
- Providing support to department chairs and program leaders
- Recognizing the importance of service and engagement within the many communities we serve
