Wenrui Huang’s research focuses on the social context of education, especially in neighborhoods, parenting and children development. Prior to joining the PhD program at Johns Hopkins University, Wenrui worked in a research position at the China Institute for Financial and Educational Research (CIFER) at Peking University after completing her master’s degree at Cornell University. Her prior experiences include assisting in several large-scale school-based interventions in rural China. Currently she is also a research assistant at the Social Policy Institute, Washington University in St. Louis.
