Noah Nelson is a doctoral student at the Johns Hopkins School of Education. His current research interests focus on the area of how social institutions impact the lives and educational experiences of Black youth and communities. Prior to beginning his doctoral studies, Noah served as an elementary educator in Atlanta and aimed to bridge community organizing into education spaces.
