Josh Schuschke’s research examines the role of popular and social media as educational technology tools and spaces for Black academic identity constructions. His work also leverages the cultural strengths and practices of Black youth and communities with media and technologies to advocate for inclusive pedagogical practices. As an assistant professor at the School of Education, Schuschke teaches courses on critical perspectives and antiracist practices in technology enhanced classrooms.
