UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Education

This exclusive talk with Farida Shaheed, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Education, will be live-streamed from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center in Washington. D.C.

Sociologist and executive director of Pakistan’s leading gender justice organization, Farida Shaheed took office as the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Education in 2022. Marking the final public appearance of her official U.S. visit, this live-streamed convening offers a unique opportunity to engage this renowned expert on global educational issues such as children’s rights in the digital world; key trends pertaining to achievement and inclusion; and considerations for education policymakers in today’s increasingly complex world.
