Veronique C. Gugliucciello is a senior lecturer for the School of Education and the Faculty Co-Lead for the Master of Science in Education – International Teaching and Global Leadership (ITGL) Cohort. She serves as the advisor and lead for the Creative and Innovative focus area and the digital portfolio lead for the ITGL Cohort.

In 2008,  Gugliucciello joined the full-time faculty of the School of Education’s Department of Teacher Preparation as an instructor and program coordinator for the FlexMAT and AMAT programs. During that year, she received the Regina Russo Hammel ’41 Outstanding Recent Graduate Award from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She is a member of the 2011 JHU Leadership Development Program. In 2012, she joined the Center for Technology in Education (CTE), where she served as an instructor and program coordinator with the distance education team. During her time at CTE she has also served as the Project Manager for an Investing in Innovation (i3) grant and the Impact NOW: Imperative 3 Secondary Transition grant. She currently serves at the Project Lead for the Clinical Reasoning in Neurology Partnership with the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.   

Gugliucciello began her career as a Baltimore City school teacher. After completing a Master of Science in Urban School Counseling, she began working as a counselor in Howard County, where she published various materials for creating bully-free schools, created and piloted a targeted intervention check-in/check-out program for at-risk students in grades 1 to 8, and served as a mentor for counseling interns.
