Student Disability Services (SDS) has moved to a new Hub based model to deliver services across schools in a consistent and coordinated manner. SDS has streamlined its policies and procedures so that all schools have the same resources, accommodations, forms, and initial application processes.
The Universitywide Hub serves all of the schools and supports the other Hubs. The Uwide Hub includes the Executive Director, the Assistive Technology Center/staff, and the Assistant Director of Communication Access.
To better serve our students, we have created hubs to organize the nine schools by program type and location.
DC/PROFESSIONAL HUB
The DC/Professional Hub includes graduate and professional programs. This hub serves:
- Advanced Academic Programs (AAP, a division of KSAS)
- The Carey Business School (CBS)
- Engineering for Professionals (EP, a division of Whiting School of Engineering)
- The School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS)
- The School of Education (SOE)
Many students who are in these schools are working professionals looking to advance or interested in developing additional specialization in their field. These schools serve students across the globe, and some programs are fully online or hybrid.
