Yan Wu is a PhD student interested in exploring students’ learning motivation, researching dropout prevention from class and learning community level, and advocating educational justice for underrepresented bi/multilinguals. In academics, he aims to make research accessible to the public. Prior to joining the Johns Hopkins University, Yan served as a TA in college and worked as an IELTS instructor in China. After that, he taught academic English at college-level in the US. Currently, he proudly supported education for a local community in Peru ranging from K-12 to adult context.
