Mary Cunningham is a PhD candidate at Johns Hopkins School of Education. She completed a Master of Health Sciences from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health focusing on social determinants of health in 2017. Prior to starting her doctoral studies, she spent three years working as a project manager at the University of Michigan School of Public Health managing multiple projects related to school safety, youth violence prevention, and positive youth development. She looks forward to learning more about the educational context and continuing to research school safety and youth violence prevention.
