Fangfang Cai is a PhD student at Johns Hopkins University, School of Education. She is deepening her expertise in the fields of gifted education, talent development, creativity, and early childhood education, committed to developing innovative educational strategies that advance talent development and foster creative potential. Prior to joining the doctoral program, her academic trajectory began with a bachelor’s degree from Sun Yat-sen University in China, followed by a master’s in business from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She spent several years working in the business sector and founding her own business. After becoming a mother of two children, she discovered a deep passion for education, prompting her to shift careers. This transformative experience led her to pursue further academic development, including a master’s in Early Years Education from University College London (UCL) and a second master’s in Gifted Education from Johns Hopkins University, where her academic excellence was recognized with the prestigious Johns Hopkins University School of Education Student Excellence Award.
