Johns Hopkins is listed 10th among U.S. universities in the field of education and training in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023. The publication also ranks the university as no. 22 in the world in education and training, tied with King’s College London.

The university’s education programs earned high marks in scholarly citations, a strong indicator of research excellence, from the annual publication, which known for its emphasis on academic and employer reputation.

“I’m pleased to see this affirmation of our global leadership in education,” said Christopher Morphew, dean of the Johns Hopkins School of Education. “I think that one reason we are making such an impact in schools and communities across the nation is that we continue to draw on the best research and practice around the world.”

Known for innovation, the School of Education has recently launched new graduate programs in education policy, international teaching, and alternative teacher preparation—as well as a groundbreaking redesign of its online doctorate designed especially for education leaders.

Published by Quacquarelli Symonds Ltd, the QS World University Rankings receives approval from the International Ranking Expert Group (IREG) and is recognized as one of the world’s most-widely read sources of comparative data about university performance.
