Join us online at 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 11, for a student-led virtual info session on the Special Education: Mild-to-Moderate Disabilities master’s degree program and the Special Education Teacher Immersion Training (SET-IT) partnership at Johns Hopkins School of Education.

This interactive session features a panel of current Special Education students who will share their firsthand experiences in the program. You’ll hear directly from students about coursework, hands-on internship experiences, faculty support, and what it’s really like to prepare for a career serving students with disabilities.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Hear from current students about the curriculum, field experiences, and support resources
  • Learn how the program prepares graduates to work effectively with students with mild-to-moderate disabilities
  • Get an overview of the SET-IT partnership, a specialized training opportunity for Montgomery County Public Schools employees
  • Participate in a live Q&A to ask students and staff your questions about workload, internships, and career outcomes

Admissions representatives will also be available to review application requirements, timelines, and next steps, ensuring you have the information you need to apply with confidence.

Whether you’re exploring a career in special education or interested in the SET-IT pathway, this student panel offers an authentic look at how Johns Hopkins prepares educators to make a meaningful impact.

Register today to hear from our students and take the next step toward a rewarding career in special education.
