Research in Progress

“Pre-service teacher reflections as revealed through digital tools” (In Process)
This project examines the reflections of pre-service teachers using two digital tools: blogs and video recordings of peer-led conferences. This project also compares pre-service teacher reflections to university supervisor evaluations.

“Community Immersion and Teacher Attitudes” (In Process)
This research project explores the impact on teachers of time spent in community organizations prior to beginning work as a K-12 teachers in urban schools. As part of the preparations to work in the community, students enroll in a course about the city of Baltimore.
