Mary Beth Regan brings to her role more than 25 years of experience as a senior editor, content strategist, and expert in digital communications, social media, and crisis communications. Regan is responsible for implementing an integrated marketing and communications strategy that advances the School of Education’s vision and mission. Regan’s team coordinates and executes branding and recruitment marketing campaigns as well as oversees internal and external communications.

Prior to joining the School of Education, Regan served as a senior editor at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, coordinating content creation and strategy for the school’s more than 160 researchers, nine departments, and 21 collaborative research centers. Prior to her work in higher education, she served as a Washington correspondent for Business Week, and worked for outlets including the Washington Post, Tribune Co, and Cox Media Group. Regan holds a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
