Cole Bingham (he/his) is the Assistant Dean of Marketing & Communication at the Johns Hopkins School of Education, where he leads the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that enhance the school’s brand and engagement with key audiences. His work is focused on amplifying the school’s successes and impact, driving both awareness and institutional growth.
Before joining the School of Education, Cole spent more than a decade at Jhpiego, a Johns Hopkins-affiliated global health NGO saving lives, improving health and transforming futures in more than 150 countries. He served most recently as the Director of Marketing & Brand, enhancing Jhpiego’s global brand and raising resources to catalyze lifesaving health care solutions—because where you live shouldn’t determine if you live. Cole led the team responsible for Jhpiego’s web portfolio, social media, email marketing, paid advertising and design, helping earn the organization its first Webby award, best microsite, and best marketing campaign with PR News. He worked alongside leading researchers and experts on landmark global health innovations, and delivered compelling multimedia moments with international superstars from Will Ferrell and Jordan Peele to Ciara and Olivia Rodrigo. Before joining Jhpiego, Cole spent a number of years internationally in the development field, working in orphan care, nutrition and child health arenas.
