Overall, her research utilized quantitative methods to study teacher retention in urban, high turnover schools, with a particular emphasis on teachers’ working conditions, school climate, and teachers’ well-being. At Johns Hopkins, she worked with the Center for Social Organization of Schools (CSOS) on an evaluation of restorative practices and with the Institute for Education Policy (IEP) on the development of a best in class school culture survey.
