Bingyao Hu is a doctoral student at the Johns Hopkins School of Education. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Education in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research focuses on student mobility and trends in higher education participation, with a focus on college access and persistence among marginalized groups. Prior to her doctoral studies, Bingyao worked as a higher education administrator at a joint-venture university, where she gained valuable experience in cross-cultural collaboration and institutional development.
