Katie Caster is the Master of Education for Teaching Professionals (TeachingWell) program director. Katie brings a deep and impressive background in teacher education, literacy, multilingual learning, mentorship, and culturally sustaining curriculum. She is completing her PhD in English Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, with a specialization in teacher education, and has held roles as a teacher, coach, curriculum designer, adjunct professor, and program leader across K–12, higher education, and nonprofit settings. Her work reflects a strong commitment to supporting educators, strengthening instructional practice, and building learning communities grounded in connection, equity, and care.
