The Johns Hopkins Institute for Education Policy strives to ensure that policy and practice are guided by research.
We work with policymakers to integrate research into educational policy, with lawmakers to provide evidence that is used to inform research-grounded legislation, and with practitioners to implement evidence-based practices in schools and classrooms. When policy and practice are guided by research, our schools stand a better chance of delivering on the promise of excellence, providing a high-quality education to all students.
We offer districts and schools timely data drawn from evaluations, surveys, and focus group interviews to enable research-based, stakeholder-sensitive shifts in their educational offerings and interventions.
