Back on Track for Graduation aims to increase high school graduation rates and reduce dropout rates in the Capital School District in Dover, Delaware. Utilizing the Early Warning Intervention and Monitoring Systems (EWIMS) developed by the American Institutes for Research (AIR), the project identifies students at risk of not graduating by monitoring key predictors: absenteeism, behavior, and course performance.

In collaboration with AIR and Dr. Robert Balfanz from the JHU Everyone Graduates Center and funded by the Longwood Foundation, this initiative is designed to systematically improve graduation rates and student outcomes, ensuring long-term benefits for the Dover community and creating a replicable model for neighboring districts.
