Orientations and Homewood Tours

The School of Education (SOE) Student Orientation provides an overview of the student resources and services available to you as a Johns Hopkins School of Education student. It also provides tutorials on how to use Blackboard which is the platform used for your on campus and online courses. The SOE is committed to your academic success and we encourage you to take advantage of a number of student services and resources available to you. All online students are required to complete the orientation before classes begin. Other students are encouraged to complete the orientation within the first two weeks of the semester.

You will navigate through the modules on this site using the page links on the left side navigation menu. After reviewing the orientation modules, please complete the Orientation Quiz.

Complete the Student Orientation on Blackboard.

If you require technical support with Blackboard, please complete the online form at http://secure.education.johnshopkins.edu/insideeducation/itss-resources/soe-it-support/bbsupport or call 443-872-9265.
