While on-campus housing is not available for SOE graduate students, the following off-campus housing resources in Baltimore City are listed below.

Please note that Johns Hopkins University School of Education does not endorse or recommend any particular off-campus housing, and is not responsible for the safety and security of the housing listings posted on this site; therefore, we urge you to inspect these options carefully, and discuss the details of the leasing agreements with the respective landlords.

Please note public transportation is not available from the Homewood Campus to the Columbia Center. In most programs, students are expected to travel to different campuses for classes. Traveling time during the non-rush hours between Homewood and Columbia is 35 minutes. (approximate times – depending on routes of travel).

SOE students may visit the Off-Campus Housing website at http://pages.jh.edu/~hds/offcampus/. This office only has information about rentals near the Homewood Campus in Baltimore.

You can also submit a classified ad to the SOE Tuesday Announcements at soe.students@jhu.edu or to the JHU Gazette newspaper.

Renters should, as always, exercise caution in selecting landlords and roommates.
