Master of Science in Education – School Administration and Supervision 
Candidates in the Master of Science in Education’s concentration in School Administration and Supervision develop the skills necessary for successful educational leadership in K–12 school settings. This program combines practical experience with current best practices in leadership, curriculum and instruction, school law, technology, and other areas. Applicants must be certified teachers or certified school personnel currently employed by a public-school district or accredited independent school.

Graduate Certificate – Educational Leadership for Independent Schools
The Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership for Independent Schools program is for directors, heads of schools, principals, and other leadership-minded professionals who manage independent schools. Candidates must be educational professionals employed in a K–12 independent school.

Graduates refine their management skills, including supervising personnel, strategic planning, conflict management, and fundraising. They gain a deeper understanding of school budgets to support faculty and staff in meeting instructional goals, as well as the general principles of budget development, and strategies for communicating budgetary issues to various stakeholders, including boards of directors, families, and staff.

Graduate Certificate – School Administration and Supervision (online or face to face)
The Graduate Certificate in School Administration and Supervision combines evidence-based research with practical experience to give emerging leaders in K–12 school settings the tools they need to transform schools and sustain effective change. The program affords candidates the opportunity to combine real-world experience with current best practices in leadership, curriculum, instruction, school law, technology, and other areas.

Online or face-to-face enrollment options are available, and both are taught by experts with extensive public-school experience. The online certificate has two options: One is open to any district-employed, certified teacher or other certified personnel; the second is especially for JHU Teach For America (TFA) Corps members.
