Better: Evidence-based Education Magazine
Published by the Johns Hopkins University School of Education’s Center for Research and Reform in Education, Better magazine takes an evidence-based approach to figuring out what works in teaching.
Experts in the field write about the state of the evidence on a particular theme – such as the Winter 2011 issue covering Language Arts. There are both US and United Kingdom-based editions of the magazine, with articles written by the leading educational researchers and policy makers from around the world.
The School of Education will be publishing one article from each new edition as it comes out as a sample for those interested in the publication, along with several articles from back-issues. Those interested in subscribing to Better can do so on the Johns Hopkins University Press website.
