Established in 2004, our goal is to improve the quality of education for disadvantaged children in grades pre-K through 12 through dissemination of knowledge about effective approaches to school improvement \u2014 and high-quality research and program evaluation studies.<\/span><\/p>\n

CRRE has two major focus areas. One is to conduct third-party, design-based <\/span>evaluations<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and rigorous experimental studies that meet What Works Clearinghouse and ESSA evidence criteria for both school districts and program developers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another focus area is to disseminate <\/span>evidence-based educational research findings<\/span><\/a> on an international scale via our websites, newsletters, and ProvenTutoring coalition. We have been a pioneer in advocating for these findings to be applied in classrooms worldwide.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CRRE\u2019s staff includes both full and part-time researchers who engage with an international network of colleagues and students. Graduate students from around the world are drawn to our center because of the opportunities to work with our staff on state-of-the-art reviews of educational effectiveness, as well as evaluations of developing programs. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
