Dean Fessler Announces Retirement

Ralph Fessler, the inaugural dean of the School of Education, announced that he will retire at the end of the 2008-2009 academic year. Fessler, who joined Johns Hopkins in 1983, has played a key role in the preparation of teacher and school administrators in Maryland and the evolution of the university’s K-12 education and research programs into what is now the School of Education.
