Preparing educators, professionals and families to effectively and efficiently meet the needs of Maryland’s children requires access to evidence-based resources and professional learning opportunities that are relevant, supported and sustained. Traditional models of face-to-face professional development and information sharing do not address the realities and complexities of scheduling, nor are they scalable to provide equitable access to all constituents across the State.
CTE’s resource portals – most often created with our various partners – provide users with access to online learning communities that engage in ongoing, high-quality professional development and knowledge sharing as part of a collaborative, supportive network of individual with similar interests and challenges.
