CTE and the MSDE have worked to develop the IDEA Scorecard, a tool that enables the State and local school systems to collect and analyze data to determine progress and/or interventions or to determine technical assistance that may be required to address State Performance Plan (SPP) performance. Using a variety of reporting features, the IDEA Scorecard provides a longitudinal look at district, school, and student progress from the 2002-2003 school year to the present.
The MD IDEA Scorecard combines longitudinal data from various sources in one centralized location to assist school-based teams with making informed decisions about instructional and behavioral interventions. It provides school teams with predefined reports on attendance, state assessments, suspension, and mobility data. Overall the MD Scorecard helps school leaders facilitate the development of a school culture where data are used consistently to make high quality decisions.
