What We Do

Digital technologies and social media are transforming every area of modern life. At CTE, we are especially interested in how they are transforming teaching and learning. More and more people are now using new technologies to learn by self-discovery, collaboration with peers and immersion into virtual worlds and gaming simulations. CTE is participating in this transformation by building new tools for teachers and students, researching new technologies and data management systems and by developing learning strategies that specifically incorporate the new technologies, not as an add-on, but as an integral part of teaching and learning. And everything we do is deeply rooted in our shared belief that each and every child can learn and achieve at a high level.

Maryland Online IEP

MDSE LogoCTE works with the Maryland State Department of Education to maintain the online IEP - currently used by 17 school systems in the state and all non-public schools.
