Becoming a Principal

If you are pursuing a school leadership position, there are two ways you can accomplish your goal at Johns Hopkins:

  • The Master of Science in Education degree with a concentration in School Administration and Supervision is designed primarily for those seeking principalship and other supervisory positions.
  • If you have already obtained a master's degree, the Graduate Certificate in School Administration and Supervision provides an opportunity to earn principalship certification. The certificate can also be combined with others to earn a Master of Science in Education with principalship certification.
