Faculty Bio
My work for the past 15 years has focused on urban education.I have worked as a special educator and science expeditionary learning teacher in a public middle school in Baltimore City and as a university supervisor and instructor in teacher preparation programs in the Baltimore area.Through these experiences I have had the opportunity to develop curriculum, engage in research and scholarly activities and work with district level partners to develop high quality teacher education programs.I have a strong passion and commitment to working with new teachers in order to impact the learning and educational experiences of K-12 students. In my personal life I spend my time caring for my two children and enjoy gardening, reading and travel.
