School of Education at Johns Hopkins University - Graduate Education Programs:

Campus Security

The Montgomery County Campus provides an escort service to the parking lots upon request. Contact 301-294-7040 for more information.

Although the campus provides security services to ensure a safe and secure environment, the school encourages students to walk in groups to and from parking lots and to take other actions to provide for their own safety. Public and private telephones are located on Campus. The 911 emergency number may be used to summon local police, fire, and ambulance services.

The university issues its Annual Security Report that describes the security services at each of the university's divisions and reports crime statistics for each of the campuses. The report is published in the university Gazette, and copies of the report are available from the university's Security Department, 14 Shriver Hall, 3400 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21218-2689; 410-516-4600.
