Facilities
Situated in residential North Baltimore, the Homewood Campus is rich in traditional academic atmosphere. In addition to the offices of the School of Education, the Schools of Arts and Sciences and Engineering and the university's central administration are located here. Homewood facilities available to students include:
- Milton S. Eisenhower Library (MSEL);
- full-service bookstore;
- post office;
- cafeteria;
- extensive computing facilities.
Johns Hopkins Education Building

The Johns Hopkins Education Building, formally Seton High School, has been renovated into a modern education facility. The building retains a two-story central grand stairway, original wood paneling, and glass transoms.
Renovations include:
- Eleven "smart" classrooms;
- A state-of-the-art Technovations Lab for developing digital portfolios and teaching materials;
- The Gallery, located adjacent to the first floor classrooms, offering wireless Internet connectivity, computer stations, and space for quiet studying and small group meetings;
- An additional open computer lab as well as wireless connectivity throughout student and faculty space, providing multiple opportunities for computer use;
- The Hall, a large multipurpose room and gathering space;
- Vending machines for snacks and meals;
- On-site parking.
