Chi Sigma Iota
The SOE is reactivating the Lambda Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, the international honor society for professional counselors, and is looking for alumni interested in serving as officers. Established in 1985, CSI's mission is to "…promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling, and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling." Phi Delta Kappa
Phi Delta Kappa (PDK) is a 100 year-old professional association for educators. This member-based association is a dedicated advocate for high-quality, public education around the world. PDK strives to prepare the next generation of educators through visionary leadership, research, and service. Public Safety Leadership

The PSL Association’s purpose is to exemplify the professional leadership of PSL graduates, students, and faculty by creating nationwide opportunities for networking and mentoring across all public safety professional settings. The PSL Association encourages interaction among the PSL community and all of public safety through lectures, seminars, discussions, field trips, and attendance at professional conferences. Additional goals are:

  • To network professionally and socially
  • To create a culture of pride in graduating from the Division of Public Safety Leadership at Johns Hopkins University School of Education
  • To enhance and foster professional development of students and alumni
  • To create a supportive environment for personal growth and career development for students and alumni
  • To develop funding resources for scholarships and other endeavors
