Purpose of Assessment

The School of Education at the Johns Hopkins University is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (formerly the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education [NCATE]). All programs leading to professional licensure are approved by the Maryland State Department of Education. The SOE's School Counseling programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
