Accepting Applications for the School Counseling Fellows Program

Dear College Senior,

Interested in a career as a school counselor? 

Our accelerated School Counseling Fellows program allows you to complete a Master of Science degree in school counseling in just 15 months and become eligible for state certification. 

The Johns Hopkins School of Education Counseling Fellows program:

  • Focuses on working in urban and/or metropolitan school districts as leaders, advocates, and school change agents
  • Offers coursework beyond traditional school counseling to include content related to social justice issues, college and career readiness for disadvantaged students, and evidenced based interventions for urban youths
  • Provides opportunities to become part of a synergistic cohort that works closely with faculty, promotes exchange of information with school districts and builds lasting professional relationships

We are looking for highly qualified candidates and encourage you to apply.  The application deadline for the next cohort is February 1, 2015 (Priority deadline is December 1, 2014), with classes beginning in June 2015 on the university‚Äôs main campus in Baltimore, Maryland.
