Special Education: With special educators in high demand, our full-time master’s program can get you started on this career path in just four semesters and you will be eligible for your special education teaching certification at the elementary or secondary level.  We also offer part-time programs that allow you to continue your employment while pursuing the degree.

Gifted Education: Our master’s degee with a concentration in Gifted Education is designed to prepare teachers and administrators for leadership roles in the field of gifted education with an emphasis on research and program development. We also offer an  18-credit certificate that meets the requirements for Maryland certification for Gifted and Talented specialist.

Experienced educators who want to enhance their knowledge in a specialized subject area can take advantage of our advanced degree (PhD and EdD) and certificate programs.
